Yunomori Onsen & Spa has launched Singapore’s first-ever yuzu bath which will only be available for a limited time until 31 December 2016! Time for some pampering session and indulgence with Yunomori Onsen & Spa.
I have heard before yuzu dishes but not yuzu bath. This is pretty interesting. Started in early 18th century, soaking in yuzu bath is practiced by the Japanese on the winter solstice. They strongly believe that the yuzu bath can help to ward off winter colds and the common flu.
So, the whole yuzu fruits are floated in the hot water of the bath, sometimes enclosed in a cloth bag in releasing their aroma, or, the yuzu fruit may also be cut in half, allowing the citrus juice to mingle with the bathwater. There are many benefits of a Yuzu bath such as after the bath, the skin will become smoother, more radiant and moisturized. The oil from the yuzu stimulates the circulatory and digestive systems. And the bath also helps to alleviate body aches and back pains as well as improve blood circulation.

The onsen entry pass entitles guests the access to different variations of baths and other facilities such as sauna, steam bath and lounge.
